Here's A bit about our approach to quality at Austere. We view each product as a test of our process. Any quality issue that crops up is an opportunity to improve our process. We are also hellbent on making the best buckles out there and do everything we can to ensure that every piece that ships meets our standards.
When we find parts that don't meet our QC, we categorize them then track down the root cause of the issue and put time and money into ensuring the problem doesn't recur. While many companies view some percentage reject rate as just part of doing businesses, we aim for making zero defects... We've yet to achieve this goal and likely never will, but this informs our approach and keeps our standards high.
We inspect our paint under magnification so some of the blems here will be hard to find but rest assured, none of these have any issues that affect function. Please let us know what you do with these straps.
