The CAM UTILITY STRAP features our 3/4" Cam Buckle. Weighing in at 8.2 grams, this CNC machined aluminum buckle is lighter than most plastic side release buckles. Unlike plastic, it is crazy strong and doesn't get brittle in the cold, and we think it's easier on the eyes as well.

We sell 48" straps but please keep in mind you can always trim them down and melt the end to prevent fraying. You can also link two straps together for larger loads.

I'm a big fan of Austere's products. The colorways and other options are so cool and it's nice that they give us more options than the competitors. This cam strap I bought works great to hold my gear. I don't ever have to worry about it slipping, even when it gets wet!
These cam straps are so solid that they still look brand new 2 years later. Writing this review because I lost one of my two straps, so I came back and bought three more. These make commuting and grabbing groceries on the bike a breeze, and I use them for bike maintenance too. Hanging out with friends at the park and need to bring a chair but want to ride your bike? Need to carry 72oz of oat milk home from the store? Forgot a lock but want to pop into the coffee shop for two minutes? Going on a weeklong bike tour? These straps can do it all. Cost per use is probably less than $0.01 by now.
Use these straps for everything from installing hesdsets, or battening down bins on my cargo bikes. Would love to integrate them more!!
