The CAM UTILITY STRAP features our 1" Cam Buckle. Weighing in at 11.25 grams, this CNC machined aluminum buckle is lighter than most plastic buckles. Unlike plastic, it is crazy strong and doesn't get brittle in the cold, and we think it's easier on the eyes as well.

We sell these in one length but keep in mind you can always trim them down and melt the end to prevent fraying. You can also link two straps together for larger loads.

high quality item - buckle amazing - strap too short - pricey

The buckle is very very lightweight, looks and feels very solid. Strap isn´t moving at all - amazing quality! Nevertheless, the price for such a product is too expensive in my opinion. Also, the strap could easily be at least twice as long, preferebly at about 2,5 metres long! It´s easier to shorten it, impossible to make it longer ;-)

Lighter & stronger than NRS, 10x more simple than Voile

Sorry NRS & Voile but it is what it is. Austere did their due diligence and designed an easy to use strap with this cam buckle. I’m either dumb, slow or stupid, but I could never use a Voile strap properly on the first try. I’d have to try 7 different variations of how to use it to make it work. NRS cams feel like you’ve got a brick tied to the end of a strap… watch out for your front teeth. Not to mention casted parts like the NRS cams are much weaker compared to cams machined out of solid aluminum like these Austere beauties. So thankful for this company. I’m eyeballin their belt so I can pick up boulders with my skid steer (I don’t have a skid steer). But most definitely buying more of the 1” cam straps. They slide through MOLLE webbing perfect. Been using em so far as a belt and the actuation on the cam is buttery quick and smooth.
